Now there’s an online option for contributing to the ministry of New Covenant. Click on the link below to be redirected to eGive, the church’s secure online giving vendor. eGive

With eGive, you can.... · Make one-time donations or schedule ongoing support that fits your lifestyle · Edit or Delete any scheduled donation at any time · Give to the General Fund and/or Building Fund
Benefits of Online Giving You’re fulfilling your good intentions...most of us want to give regularly but busyness, absences and distractions frustrate our good intentions. You will simplify your life...by giving automatically on the schedule and date you decide. No writing a check, remembering to bring it, or sending it to church if you miss. You will be helping the church...making record keeping much easier and income more consistent. You are taking a step of faith...deciding in advance to faithfully give. Frequently Asked Questions Q – I click on the link and nothing happens; what’s wrong? A – When you click on the link, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific website. In order to use eGive, you will need to allow pop-ups within www.NewCovenantRochester.org. Q – Are electronic contributions risky?
A – No. An electronic contribution is safer than writing a check and it can’t be lost, stolen or destroyed in the mail. Electronic transactions are required to have your authorization before any money can be deducted. When you sign up for eGive, you are only giving information that is already printed on your check. National laws, rules, and guidelines govern all Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) transactions. Over four billion EFT transactions are processed annually in the United States. Q – Is there any charge to me from my bank to give online? A – No. Electronic funds transfers carry no bank fees and this service is free to you. Q – Why not just give at church?
A – Some of our people are extremely faithful and consistent in their giving at church each week. Some also want their physical act of bringing their offerings to be a part of their worship experience. Others prefer to give online as it helps them give more consistently. Q – Can I give at odd times, like on the 3rd, 10th, and 12th of each month?
A – Yes - you can leave detailed instructions in the notes section of the online giving setup and the administrator will set things up exactly as you request. Q – Is it easy to change my amounts or to stop giving online?
A – Yes - simply use the same process you used to sign up for online giving. It's quick and almost instant Q – How will I receive a receipt for my eGive contributions? A – Your eGive contributions will be included on your annual statement from New Covenant and mailed to you in January of each year.

Things We Love - Things We Love

Love is an important part of our church's mission. But to really understand New Covenant, you also have to understand what we love. The things we love shape and mold our priorities as we become the people God wants us to be.

We love GOD.

Just like you, we want to be people who love God with everything we have - our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength. God's love for us is passionate and uncontainable. By loving Him the same way, we complete the circle and open the door to a new life of freedom, purpose, and hope.We love FAMILIES.

Maintaining a healthy, vibrant marriage isn't easy these days. At New Covenant, we help couples establish a strong foundation for their marriage and provide a supportive environment for marriages to grow and prosper.

Raising kids isn't easy either. One of our primary focuses is supporting parents by providing safe and fun programs where kids can grow spiritually and develop positive relationships with their peers. We love PEOPLE.

We don't believe in isolating ourselves from the world around us. In fact, we think we involved in our community, offering encouragement, blessing, and assistance to those in need, and making the world a better place for everyone.

We also don't believe in isolating ourselves from other Christians. All Christians are united by their love of Christ, and we don't view denominational, racial, economic, or cultural lines as barriers to love and fellowship. We love to see people GROW.

More than anything else, we love to see people succeed in becoming the person God created them to be. But we also realize that the road to success is often littered with challenges, struggles, and setbacks. So at our church, you will find a non-judgmental atmosphere where you can safely share your failures as well as your successes.

Since God doesn't discriminate when He gives gifts and callings to people, neither do we. Both men and women are free to exercise their gifts and respond to God's ministry calling at our church. We love EACH OTHER.

Our church works hard at being a caring community whose members care for one another every single day. At New Covenant, you will find people who will stand beside you and support you no matter what life throws at you.

Worried you won't fit in at our church? You shouldn't be. Although we are a close-knit community, our motto is, "The more, the merrier!" Every group and ministry at New Covenant is intentionally designed to welcome newcomers with open arms.

Our Mission - About Us

A mission statement may not seem like a big deal for some people, but for us our mission statement defines our church community and helps people understand what we're all about. We are followers of Jesus,
Committed to loving God and sharing His love,
With the world and with each other.

We realize every church is different. But at New Covenant, everything we do - from our kids' programs to Sunday morning worship - has to measure up to our mission statement or else we don't do it. It's just that simple.

Sunday: What to Expect - Sunday: What to Expect

If you are visiting New Covenant for the first time, you're probably wondering what to expect. We get it - visiting a new church can be a stressful experience. So to make your visit a little less stressful, here are answers to some of the most common questions visitors have when visiting our church on Sunday morning.

What should I wear?

New Covenant is a "come as you are" kind of church. If you want to wear a jacket and tie, that's fine. But if you want to wear jeans and a T-shirt that's fine, too. The bottom line is that we care more about you than we do your clothes.

What time does the service start?

Our Sunday morning service starts at 9:30 a.m. We usually start promptly at 9:30 because we know your time is valuable and starting 10 or 15 minutes late makes it harder for you to accomplish the things you want to do later in the day.

What kind of music does your church have?

If it's been awhile since you've been in a church, that's okay. But be warned: This isn't your parents' church music! Instead of a pipe organ, our Creative Arts team leads us in worship with drums, electric guitars, keyboards, and a variety of multimedia elements. Occasionally, we also worship in diverse styles like Jazz, Bluegrass, and Acoustic/Unplugged.

What about my kids?

New Covenant is a very "kid-friendly" church. After praise and worship, kids ages pre-K through 8th grade go to SNL Kids, our Sunday morning kids ministry. SNL Kids lasts until the end of the service, and is a great place for our littlest attenders to have fun and learn about God is a safe, age-appropriate environment.

For younger kids (newborn - 4 years old), we provide a nursery program that runs throughout the entire service. The nursery facility is safe, sanitary, and located close to the sanctuary so you can check in on your little tyke whenever you need to.

What's the sermon like?

While the kids are having fun at SNL Kids, the adults are having fun in the sanctuary with a weekly message from one of our pastors. Our pastors go the extra mile to bring messages that are not only biblically sound, but relevant and practical as well.

It's not usual for a weekly message to be part of an in-depth sermon series designed to help you blend your faith with everyday life. Although we are always coming up with new ideas, some of the our recent sermon series have included: "Life at the Next Level", "Sex & the City (of God)", and "Desperate Households".

Will someone pray with me?

We hope you will experience God's presence throughout the entire service. But we also realize that sometimes we all need to experience God in a more direct way. After the message, we regularly offer a time of prayer for those who need a "close encounter" with God.

The prayer time is completely optional and there is no pressure to go forward. But if you need prayer, it's reassuring to know that there are trained prayer partners who will pray with you in an unconditional and non-judgmental way.

What time does the service end?

Our service usually ends between 11:00 and 11:15, and is followed by a time of food and fellowship in the New Covenant Cafe. About once a month we offer a special "Meet the Pastors" reception after the service to help you get acquainted with our pastors and learn more about our church.
